I'm so proud of the Team we have at BeeKind.

It's nice to be important but more important to be nice is my mantra.I truly believe Kindness can make all the difference to someone, we will also go that extra mile and that's what make BeeKind so special.

After looking after and caring for both my parents during their time of need it made me very sad that in the world we live in there are many lonely people that didn't have family that they could call on to help with the daily chores or someone to just talk to and laugh with and talk about the past sad times and good.
I spent many hours at my mum's care home sitting with the other people who had no visitors day after day. I soon realised that music and just a kind word or gesture would make all the difference to their day.

It's now my time to Beekind!

I have looked after the elderly and vulnerable for a number of years. I love getting know them and listening to their wonderful stories of their lives. Beekind provides such an important service to our clients and I'm so glad to be part of the team.

After a career in medicine, I took a break to raise my son. Once he got older, I sought work with BeeKind Services. I'm so glad I did! A wonderful team of kind and compassionate individuals. I personally love spending time getting to know clients. The work is so rewarding and everyday it feels like you are doing something worthwhile.

I have been working for BeeKind for 5 years. .I come from a caring background and this is what I like to do.

BeeKind gives me the perfect opportunity to continue caring for people that need a little TLC.

 Before retirement I have always been in admin jobs and have always been very much a people person.  I love working for BeeKind because it gives me the opportunity to meet, help and bond with people which is so rewarding knowing you can make such a difference to someone's life

I previously worked as a nurse, midwife, and teaching assistant until I retired a couple of years ago.

I love working for BeeKind because I can make a positive difference in someone’s day through simple companionship.

I worked in my local Primary school for over 20 years. Absolutely loved my work and worked with many children with Special Educational Needs. Met some wonderful children and families alike.

Heard about “BeeKind” through a friend. I had retired and had previously been looking after my elderly parents for a number of years.

BeeKind is amazing. It gives me the chance to carry on doing what I love. Caring. I have met some wonderful clients and their families.

It’s not a job, it’s just what I enjoy doing.

I have now been at BeeKind since 2024 and can honestly say it is one of the most satisfying and rewarding jobs I have had. I feel i am visiting friends rather than clients and have built up good relationships, and with their families too. After losing my dad to dementia, this has helped m to support some of our clients with the dad effect of this illness. No day is the same, from taking clients shopping, a visit to the garden centre, accompanying medical appointments, the dentist or even the vets, food preparation, light housework or simply just sitting and having a chat over a cuppa. I feel very lucky to be part of a wonderful caring team at BeeKind and hopefully making my clients feel supported and less alone.

I come from a finance background and later moved into a community role. Working with BeeKind feels truly meaningful. I love being able to befriend people in their own homes; sometimes all it takes is a conversation, a helping hand, and a warm smile to brighten someone’s day.

I am 67, mother of 2 and have been with my partner for 47 years.
I worked in buying for a large fashion company in London. When I was 27, I decided to change my life and combine my love for partying and Greece I decided to move to Zante and opened a cocktail bar on the beach.
When I eventually returned I went back into fashion until I had children then  started a finance career which I still work in part time . Working for Beekind allows me to do this as well as looking after my grandchildren in between. It actually brings more to the table than any of my paid work as it nourishes the soul helping vulnerable people and making a difference to their lives. It is so rewarding supporting people sometimes with challenging characters.
I would highly recommend joining our team of lovely Bees.

I trained as a NNEB straight after leaving school and have worked in Early Years most of my life. I decided a year ago that I needed a change and just by chance Louise from BeeKind contacted me. I had never thought of working with the elderly but I’m so glad I made that move.
Each day I look forward to going to work to make a difference to someone’s life, to be able to listen and talk to clients, to take them out whether it’s shopping, appointments, garden centres or museums it’s all about brightening up someone’s day, putting a smile on their face.
Being a companion for BeeKind is the most rewarding job.

I worked as a Bank Officer previously.
Retired 18 years ago . Went to college after my retirement to study Health and Social Care for Adults.
Worked for a couple Care Homes and in the community doing all aspect of caring etc.
However due to being diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2018, I stopped working for 6 years. Am now cancer free and in remission.
Now am working in a local Care Home for a few hours a week , and I Iove it .
Last year In June 2025, I was introduced to Beekind by a lovely lady called  Teresa, I am so happy to be part of such a caring team of ladies .
I know that I haven’t go a regular client of my own, but I love helping out when need be to suppose the amazing team and to build a caring relationship with the clients I help, to improve their wellbeing and achieve shared goals within themselves on a daily basis.
Beekind goes beyond transactional services, by incorporating genuine emotional care, support and understanding while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries to all clients, making them all to feel secure  and respected within themselves.

I am looking forward to working for BeeKind as their kindness and compassion towards people is so evident in their clients feedback. I personally really enjoy spending time with people and helping them. I look forward to building rewarding relationships with clients and their families. I live in Kings Langley now with my husband and two daughters, however I am originally from Leeds.

I was an L .S.A in secondary schools for 15 years , my Dad then became unwell so I gave up work to be around and help.
Then Louise approached me and asked if id like to join the Beekind team .
I love the friendships built.
Knowing your offering companionship, company and time to someone makes such a difference to their day. Its so rewarding knowing that.

I joined Beekind because it felt like a really rewarding job after raising my two boys. The work is incredibly fulfilling and I love spending time with the clients — they don’t feel like clients, they feel more like friends. The colleagues at Beekind are also wonderful and very supportive, which makes it an even more special place to work.
